Conceptual Street Scape

Designed in association with Hill Glazier Architects, the Lodge at Aspen Mountain is located at the base of Aspen's original ski lift. This proposed five-star project will be comprised of twenty-five fractional units and one hundred lodge rooms, and is intended to revitalize the western portal to Aspen Mountain. On-site amenities will include a pool terrace, full swim spa, and après-ski bar.

In order to allow a large project to fit into a neighborhood comprised of smaller buildings, The Lodge at Aspen Mountain will be visually broken down into several smaller components. Each of these "buildings" will have its own character. The roof forms are large and sheltering, giving the project a strong sense of grounding. Materials will be indigenous to the architecture of the Rocky Mountains and will include a palette of native stone, heavy timber bracketing, wood sidings, as well as wood and metal roof materials.
