Amy Giertz
Accounting Associate
Amy is a native to Denver, Colorado. She has lived in the states of Illinois, Virginia/Washington, DC and Georgia before moving back to the beautiful state of Colorado in 1996.
Her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with a concentration in graphic design from Colorado State University, has been applied to numerous non-profit organizations and for-profit companies. She received a paralegal certification and worked for a prominent telecommunications law firm in Washington, DC.
She has extensive high-level experience as an Executive Assistant to a number of prominent Denver businesses and non-profit organizations, including assisting with the launch of the new Colorado State University Global, a CSU system University. Besides her administrative talents she has done event planning, grant writing and business process and procedure development. Before moving to the Roaring Fork Valley Amy applied her marketing and graphic design skills with a start-up technology database management platform company in Denver. Amy gained knowledge and accounting skills through employment with multiple organizations including local companies like Peak Fine Art Services and Valley View Hospital to name a few.
Amy enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering with organizations like A Little Help, Denver Botanic Gardens, Up with People, various schools, churches and the Boy Scouts of America. She cherishes her time spent with her two sons and their families that live nearby.
In her free time, she finds peace and inspiration in the outdoors where she enjoys camping, hiking, archery, fishing and adventure exploration with her border-collie lab mix, Braxster. She loves yoga, puzzle building, photography, fine art drawing, painting, and sculpture.
