Below positions are available in our Aspen and Carbondale, CO offices:


ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT MANAGER/ARCHITECT


“Project Managers and Project Architects are at the heart of the success of our firm. They create valuable relationships with our Clients, Design Consultants and Builders, and create and execute the path required for a successful project.”

  • Our Project Managers and Project Architects are ultimately responsible for all aspects of the overall administrative execution of all phases of a project

  • 4-6 years of related experience required

  • Experience in managing multiple project teams strongly preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Lead on communications with clients, consultants, contractors and project jurisdictions

  • Extensive experience in all phases of architecture, including project budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specifications and working drawings; building codes, building materials, building costs and construction techniques; office standards, policies and procedures required

  • Extensive knowledge of procedures for production of design development and construction documents, architectural drafting, and detailing required

  • Extensive knowledge of building materials, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and acoustical engineering, building codes and costs strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of legal considerations and responsibilities in construction and professional ethics, including risk management strongly preferred

  • Authority to direct, control and monitor all project activities, including the coordination and direction of the project team:

    • Direction and oversight of the project team

    • Direct and provide oversight in the preparation of design development and construction documents

    • Direct development of building systems and details

    • Develop project budget and schedules in conjunction with firm leadership including construction budget and labor budget. Maintain budget performance throughout project life including the management of project scope changes

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from NAAB accredited program, or equivalent, strongly preferred.

  • NCARB certification strongly preferred.

  • LEED accreditation a plus.

  • Must maintain Architectural Licensure in the state where projects are located.

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Word, Excel & Outlook required

  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit required

  • Working knowledge of other typical architecture software, including Bluebeam, Photoshop, and Sketchup preferred

  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
