The concept for the Lodge on Biltmore Estate was to create a lodge structure with enough historical references to invoke images steeped in the traditions and ideals of the Biltmore Estate, and a building that might have been used by invited weekend guests of the George Vanderbilt family. Located in the agrarian section of the historic estate, the architectural character draws its influences from materials used on structures in this part of the estate. This 4 to 5 star facility is approximately 150,000 square feet consisting of 200 guest rooms, full service restaurant and bar, conference rooms, outdoor event lawn, and a 9,500 square feet spa facility, including pool terrace and private spa terraces.
