The Sunset Ridge residence overlooks Deep Creek Canyon and is encircled by 360-degree panoramic views of the San Miguel Mountains in Telluride, Colorado. This 12,000-square-foot ultra-modern home was designed to embrace the surrounding landscape, offering spectacular vistas from nearly every space within the residence.
The vision behind Sunset Ridge was to create a one-of-a-kind mountain modern home, one that inspires curiosity and wonder while responding thoughtfully to its natural context. The architectural design breaks away from traditional orthogonal geometries, favoring soaring angular rooflines, sculptural steel elements, and expansive ceiling-to-floor glass that draws the outdoors into the experience of the interiors.
Limestone walls anchor the structure to the land, while the interior design enhances the home's bold architecture with refined materials and a modern palette that compliments the dynamic forms.
